About the Author: the author of the above mentioned text is not known, why it is so remains largely a subject of speculation. Giving the tittle of the text, it is concluded that it is not altogether inappropriate and it could be the intention of the author to remain anonymous.However the gender of this author is believed to be masculine basically because of the book's final lines which reveal him as a priest dispensing God's blessing and his.

 Personal motivation: my motivation came from the question, why would someone write such a widely appreciated text and yet choose to remain anonymous? secondly i got endeared with the seemingly striking nature of the book namely, an unknown author writing about unknown cloud. So basically i would say that i am being driven by first, the humility of the author and secondly, curiosity.
